Although the room layout is very convenient and the hotel itself has decent amenities, the carpets throughout the building need to be cleaned or replaced as there is a faint dirty/musty smell throughout the hallways and the smell was present in the room we stayed in. Although I didn’t enjoy the odor, what made the stay terrible was the quality of the mattress and pillows. The mattress needed to be replaced ages ago and the pillows were in really poor condition. I honestly didn’t get an hour of sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable.

We wanted a place between Ft Lauderdale and Aventura for a quick overnight and this was perfect. We felt the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the facilities were immaculate. Breakfast good and easy parking. We also discovered the local beach which is correctly described as a hidden gem.

We arrived late, as did others. The shuttle got us from the airport asap, was kind, careful with our luggage. The check in attendant was beyond helpful. Gave us great information about our cruise the next day. Was very cheerful yet gave off a calm vibe which was so nice after the hectic airport. We will choose this place again for sure.
