Maritim Hotels - accommodation in Frankfurt

Everything was fabulous. My only concern was that the room was quite hot despite setting the thermostat at the lowest temperature. That said, I live in a country with ample and abundant air conditioning.

I have stayed at this hotel before since it is conveniently located next to the Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). Everything about it is wonderful. The rooms are spacious, quiet (in spite of the outside traffic), clean, up-to-date, etc. But the most memorable thing about this place used to be the breakfast buffet. This time is was on a minimalist scale, and without any great offerings that I would find memorable. When I travel I always try to stay at hotels that have breakfast buffets with great local variety since it might be hard to find any restaurant early in the morning elsewhere. I was disappointed this time. I hope they improve and return to their glory days.
