The hotel looks very clean but does have an old smell to it when you first walk in. The front desk staff Michelle was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had what we needed. However, the furniture does look worn. Time for some new furniture. The breakfast was good. What you would expect to have. We didn’t use the pool so not sure about it. Overall good experience.

Wifi, tv, and phone didn’t work. Had no service all weekend. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work and we had to wait for maintenance to come check it out in the morning with a family of 5 sweating in the Texas summer heat because they had no available rooms to move us. Got moved in the morning. Breakfast was great and the staff was overall very kind.

The property itself is just old and outdated. The beds were pretty comfortable. I’m not entirely sure how well they clean the rooms considering we found somebody’s sock underneath our sink in the bathroom. The area around the pool is broken and cracked, but not to the point that I would consider dangerous. The pool is also quite small and there is no hot tub. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pool was super green so our evening plan of swimming was not possible. My kid ended up covered in bites from the room. I don’t think I would book here again despite the staff being awesome and the rest of the facility being nice.

Friendly, Clean & Comfortable

Staff were very friendly & helpful; room was clean & quiet; beds comfortable & well appointed amenities - bathroom very clean & glad to see hair dryer! (Forgot mine); my only complaint was the air conditioner didn't seem to help much with humidity, but it was easy to adjust & for the most part, very comfortable. When I needed extra towels, the room attendants were very helpful. My husband liked the coffee better than what was served in the breakfast room! Breakfast offerings were good & plentiful. I would definitely stay here again!
