Older motel kind of feel. Pretty area. Rooms were clean. Good place to crash for the night but nothing to linger around and stay awhile.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Cleanliness
The motel is situated right before the entrance of the Avenue of Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. There is a bar that is right next to the motel that was playing music till late into the night. The room itself was a bit dusky and some of the furnishings need to be updated, but it was manageable for a one night stay.

Good room for a good price, the only downside was the room was supposed to be nonsmoking, but it had a smoke smell to it and the pillows/bedding smelled like cigarette smoke too.

Pretty basic motel, with some strong smells, odd brown stains on lamp shades, and the stereotypical landlords handywork.
