Overall good stay.

I was a little surprised that at the things that were not working, like the hot tub, the breakfast pancake maker, the ice machine… but my room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable so overall it was a great stay. It almost met the normal standard I’m used to at Holiday Inns and I’d stay there again.

I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I am at this hotel. This is my third year, using a hotel in Golden and my first time using the Holiday Inn. This hotel is not up to Holiday Inn express hotels that I’ve stayed in in the past, and I am deeply disappointed that the elevator didn’t work. The breakfast was atrocious and inedible.. serious changes need to be made of this establishment to make it even subpar.

I was in room 328 and on going to bed there was a major mechanical noise that even shook the bed, so much so that I needed to call reception and request a new room. The manager was able to move us to room 231 where the noise level was better but not , I was however eventually able to sleep.

All is great except for the pancake maker was broker and there were few choices for breakfast for my son. A little busy and it took time for them to refill the eggs, sausage and yogurt specifically during busy hours. I hope next time during busy hours more staff are they to help.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!
