Nestled in 5 acres of native bush, only a one minute walk from door to beach front, and your choice of two twenty minute walks along the beach to the Taramakau River or New River, you'll see the best of the West Coast's outdoors.

Wow. It’s the people that make a place. Our hosts were marvellous. A great feeling of freedom when you stay here. The beach is just a short stroll away. You can light a fire and toast marshmallows. Beautiful setting, amazing for the two year old and three year old in our group. They spent hours playing in the large garden area and making things with the driftwood down at the beach. Because of the walk through a lovely little forest path to the beach it was easy to keep the kids away from the beach unless with adults. The highlight was toasting marshmallows over a wee fire while the sun set over the ocean. Amazing. Tone and Tavanna were lovely and very easy to deal with. We hope to return.

A great spot to stay for a couple of nights. Our family of 4 had a relaxing break and enjoyed the added bonus of doing our own bonfire - with marshmallows and all - on the beach 2 minutes away from the cottage. Friendly hosts and good amenities. Recommended !
