It needs an upgrade. Looks like it’s seen better times. The heating did not function in the room. On thé plus side thé staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent location.

Good morning, I am happy that you found our staff helpful and friendly. I am sorry that you found the heating not functioning. I am sorry that you felt it needed an upgrade, the room that you stayed in is currently being upgraded with most of the work completed, it has new paneling, furniture, bedding and a smart TV.

Hi Karen, the hotel has been badly impacted by Covid19 and has only just re-opened. Unfortunately with only only limited services, we have had to close our restaurant and bar but a room service breakfast is available for our guests. Within a short walk from us there is a number of restaurants serving breakfast and dinner such as Speights Ale House, Monteiths Brewery and Sevenpenny.
