The Bucher Vineyard Wine Cottage sets the standard for a wine country getaway in the Healdsburg area. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly situated --just steps from a working vineyard and surrounded by countless wine tasting options. It also offers easy access to the Healdsburg Plaza and everything downtown has to offer, all within a relaxed 15-minute drive.My wife and I stayed for four nights, and it was the perfect extended weekend escape. On our first morning, I scheduled a tasting with the host, and I highly recommend doing the same. Even if you’re not planning a full itinerary of tastings, it’s a fantastic experience and a great way to start your stay.Although the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, we found ourselves heading into Healdsburg most evenings --it was simply too hard to pass up the incredible dining options nearby.What truly stood out was how peaceful the property is. I had some of the best rest I’ve had in months. The quiet setting, paired with beautiful vineyard views, made it easy to completely unwind. In the evenings, we especially enjoyed relaxing by the propane fire pit, reflecting on the day’s highlights while sipping our favorite wine discoveries.I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable wine country stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
