This is an older property now operating under enthusiastic new ownership. The team is exceptionally warm, hospitable, and clearly working very hard on maintenance and improvements. The rooms are clean and partially updated, which is a testament to the new owners' dedication. ​However, the property's online presentation led to significantly higher expectations than what we found upon arrival. While the staff deserves five stars, the facility itself is still a work in progress. For example, some fixtures need immediate attention; the shower was clean and fresh, but it is in urgent need of replacement. ​We appreciate the effort and care shown by the new owners, but guests should be aware that this is a property actively undergoing a modernization process. A more accurate online description would help set appropriate expectations.

Helen Ga September 22nd

It took about 10 minutes to get someone to come to the front desk after ringing the buzzer 3 separate times. Once I was finally able to check in i had to listen to the front desk person's political opinion while being harangued about our leadership. I wasn't aware that the President is the reason why Doctors in Florida decide not to choose new patients.🙄 Obviously more concerned about propaganda than substance i just let it all go in one ear, and out the other. The hotel itself was clean, safe, and comfortable. We got food to go from Monday's, and it was close, and pretty decent. All in all no complaints.

The staff are very nice. The outside of the motel is need of updating. No ligthing at night for stairs. My wife tripped. AC unit allowed outside cigarette smoke to come in.

Were supposed to check in on the Saturday...no reservation at hotel. Expedia had réservations, but hotel didn't. Had to go to another hotel, who, had an open room. Checked in on Sunday and the room smelled like mold. The room had painted over wall paper and the ac was nasty. Needs a serious mold remediation. Chatted with Expedia for a refund and compensation for Saturday. Did not receive any, even though they said they would.

The bathroom was disgusting. Molded ceiling. Peeling ceiling. Tub old and stained. Drain in tub didn't work unless held down.
