Kaimana Beach Hotel October 2025

The hotel was nothing but extraordinary! From pre check-in to departure the staff were exemplary. The hotel was right on the beach and supplied towels, chairs, and suntan lotion. The restaurant had great food and the rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kaimana Hotel! Being right on the beach was amazing, and having the Hau Tree Restaurant right there on the sand made dining super special. The whole vibe is seriously Instagram goals — with awesome surf and beach cottage decor everywhere you look. The beds were crazy soft and comfy, perfect for crashing after a day in the sun. Plus, the front desk and staff were so kind and welcoming, they made the whole experience even better. Already can’t wait to come back!

Very nice hotel. I prepaid the room and had to have them check to verify. Tried to bill me twice. Supposed to have a complimentary sparkling wine which we never received. Our room was very small. The hotel is nice. The beach is right there. Overall it is good

We loved that the hotel is right on the beach. Monk seals visited daily. The staff was friendly. Our room was tiny. We stayed at another hotel on the way home whose bathroom was bigger than our entire room at Kaimana. The hotel would benefit from some updates.

Clean rooms with great views and balcony. Nice bathroom. Free beach towels and beach chairs. Restaurant had a very upscale menu, not much for picky eaters. If you don't want to pay for parking, there is plenty at the park across the street.

Cons first (to be up front): $50 per night for parking (required valet) n their tiny lot. $40 daily resort fee (you can get beach towels and chairs, no umbrellas). Hotel restaurant was always empty but always told at least a 20-30 min wait??? Beds are pretty terrible, soooooo soft, lumpy, felt half hammock / half mattress, not flat. Storage for surfboards is terrible, tiny, skinny awkward closet (it's actually not for surfboards). I would never want to store my own board there. Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff, beau5iful lobby, view of Diamond Head wonderful, cute area, nice beach out front, quiet but walkable to Waikiki, great surf shop on site. Despite the cons, I would considee staying there again.

I loved that it was located right on the beach. Easy check in. Although the next day I had to clarify that the room was paid through Expedia so I wasn’t paying for the room twice. The complimentary sparkling wine arrived the last evening of the stay after we’d already had cocktails. Also we had to remind them that it was included. Overall the hotel and location is wonderful .

Do not stay here with a small child, unless you make sure your room size is big enough. The view from my room was gorgeous and it's probably the only reason why I didn't pay attention on the room size was available to book. The beach was small, but great, clean, and sandy. Water was ideal. I was looking to stay far from crowd and be on the mostly own beach. I thought it's all about this hotel. But, unfortunately, my experience as a guest with a child was ridiculous becasue of room size, which was 205 sqft, lack of dining options and customer service from the hostess side. No prioritites for guests who live in the hotel. Your child is hungry, they don't care, tables by reservations only, or eat in your small room. Per my experience, they welcome and serve better people from outside the hotel. Even a lot of paid street parking in the area, no available parking around to avoid $50 daily hotel parking fees. If you think it's far from crowd, forget about the crowd is here. So, unfortunately, I was hoping to relax, to swim, to enjoy and have a great time, but instead I cancelled my trip. I offered per my request another available accommodation, but two options they offered had something I couldn't stay there. So.... but the room view was really gorgeous, the swimming in the ocean was really great.

The beach, the restaurant & the bed. Tell housekeeping to check under the bed after each guest. There were definitely things under there that were not ours!

For us it was just what we needed. Lovely location, beautiful views, and very relaxing. However, the room was very small with limited outlets that you would expect in an older property. The staff while friendly, seemed more enthusiastic than experienced in the hospitality industry. My pet peeve is that I should not have to get dressed to go downstairs to pay $7 for a luke warm bitter coffee with creamer sitting outside under the hot exhaust of the AC condenser. Will I go back. Probably. I'll just get coffee in town.
