Location wise was great, not right on the beach but <10 min walk to waikiki waterfront. Super close to many eating options etc and the international marketplace if shopping is what youre into. We did have a few problems with noise, but that was just inconsiderate neighboring rooms and road noise. Would definitely opt to getting a poolside room to mitigate street noise. Also our room AC was extremely noisy. Upon arrival our room didnt have a TV remote, but the front desk found us one within 30 mins on arrival. The free coffee wasnt good as its just from a push dispenser machine at the front desk with no cream but oh well. The gopro rentals included in the amenity fee was not to be used in the water which defeated the purpose. All in all, we would stay there again if we found ourselves staying in waikiki again, but would opt for a pool room and would definitely want to find a deal as im not completely sure a full price would be worth it. Again, the staff was incredible, helpful and super friendly, theres just a few things that kept it from being just a good stay rsther than a excellent stay.

The suite I was in was newly renovated - it had nice amenities. I was only in the space for about 8 hours and I was asleep, but the bed was super comfy which made it enjoyable. I was initially worried that it would be noisy because it was right next to the road and overlooking the pool, but with the inner bedroom door closed I couldnʻt hear anything. I would stay here again if I needed another quick overnight. Also - not sure if this was the entire property, but my third floor room was only accessible via stairs. It wasnʻt that bad, but for people with mobility issues or small children, it could be an issue.

Amazing pool and bar area. The kids loved the free hot chocolate in the mornings and the free slushies in the afternoon. The room itself was comfortable, not the best mattresses, but they were okay. The shower pressure was also low. However, even with those minor negatives we would definitely stay here again.

It reminds me of what Hawaii must have been like in the past. Not for the person who wants glitter and all modern but great for someone who wants something really nice. The ‘swing’ bar is not for me but I had a feast of a sandwich there. Really enjoyed my stay and I will return.

A hot tub was advertised but it was cold on arrival. The beds were small, old and extremely uncomfortable. Pillows were so thin and old. Trash was not removed from prior guest.

Definitely a decent hotel. Great price for sure. Sadly, you do not want room 233. If they give it to you, move immediately. It is directly above the hotel’s speakeasy and bass will bump until 2a as you balcony is directly over it. If you don’t plan to sleep until after 2a then you’re good. If you like flat pillows this is your hotel. Closer to the canal than beach, but not far to walk anywhere. Great hand rolls and udon around the corner and fish market and coffee across the street.

It’s such a cute and quaint little spot, central to a lot of what you’ll wanna be near in Waikiki. Not a big property so not far from the car to the room. If you wanna stay in the hotel area there are bars available, a pool and just an overall chill spot to hangout. I wish I stayed longer but a longer stay is on the list!

From outside it may not look much, but the rooms were good with balconies, has nice pool, and it’s a good walking distance from everything.
