The room was incredibly spacious with good amenities but a bit dusty. Housekeeping changed the towels daily and made beds. The main pool was closed for 2 days due to poor water quality and we found the closing times of the pools quite early (6pm for one and 7.30pm for the other). The hotel is a little further out of the main area than we expected. It’s close to Ala Moana shopping centre and Hilton Hawaiian Village, which was handy. We really enjoyed the live music one night, however the service at the restaurant downstairs was lacking. The hotel seems to be undergoing some renovations, so the driveway entry is very cramped and there’s only a small luggage lift available. We were shocked to have painters appear with no notice on our balcony on the last day. All of the other staff we interacted with were lovely and friendly, and there’s a convenience store with plenty of options available. Dave’s ice-cream is also a must! We would possibly stay here again if we were looking for somewhere fully self-contained, now that we know what to expect, however not if we were looking for a real resort-style stay.

The Ilikai did not disappoint. The Revealed Guide should give it it's ONO back! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had great customer service. Our room on the 25th floor with a marina view was excellent! We are big Hawaii 50 fans and soaked up the nostalgia. Glad the hotel had a framed article about the history of the hotel in the lobby. Would definitely recommend the Ilikai!

Very comfortable room. We got there early and the room wasn’t ready but we were able to check in our luggage so that we could go out and explore. Pool is nice. Walking distance to beach and food.

Our stay was great. We stayed in a junior suite with a kitchenette which made our stay affordable as we cooked most of our meals in the room. The bellman and the front desk staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The housekeepers were great as well! I was not expecting them to keep our rooms so tidy and clean but they did and I appreciated it so much. They also left extra towels which was helpful as we were traveling with 3 little kids during our stay. The valet for the hotel could use some training in hospitality. We dealt with a female employee who was rude and not helpful.

We usually stay here when we come to Hawaii but this time around wasn’t up to our expectations. The sink was clogged and all the dishes were so dirty and greasy. They ran out of the sofa set so we had to wait for them to deliver them to the room.
