Check in was a nightmare. They now have a virtual check-in service instead of a live person at the counter. We had to wait almost 1/2 hr before it was our turn, then it took another 1/2 hr to process us because they were having trouble with the virtual attendant. Also, did not like the fact that I had to pay another $40.00 deposit for any damages I might cause. Instead of pre auth, they actually charge the funds and says it will be 3 -5 days to return. The room was nice, but I will not be back. We stayed at this Econo Lodge last year and had a pleasant stay and check-in. They had a real live check-in attendant.
