The rooms are from the early times. Small but so full of character. The breakfast and room was delicious for all senses. The lobby takes precedence. Had a great time. Close to the trains and a huge mall .
Tried to get a good sleep before river ness 10k. Didn't happen. Will never book this hotel again. Could hear neighbouring room yapping until 4 in the morning and drunks outside
Dinner at the restaurant was good, beautiful stairway in the lobby, very convenient to the train station.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
It was convenient because there’s a restaurant bar downstairs and a nice lounge area so when I got back from my tour, I didn’t have to walk anywhere to go eat and the continental breakfast in the morning was super convenient as well. check-in was easy. Staff was great offered helpful directions on how to find laundry and other items around the area.
An amazing building with history and grandeur, if a little tired and needing investment. However, it was extremely convenient for the Inverness train and bus stations.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming and really helped to make my stay!
The room was clean, spacious and well-appointed, and the bed was comfortable.
A good place to stay if visiting Inverness!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
A grand old lady, I loved that it wasn’t perfect and had character, housekeeping could have been a bit better, our bed got made but no replacement tea/coffee and there were no batteries for the tv remote. Staff were pleasant.
Lots of great things to note: the front desk staff person Kiri was highly efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly; the grand staircase was lovely; the onsite restaurant was excellent; continental breakfast was good, they had a lift; our room was bright and spacious; just aboit everything youd want to see/do is walkable from this location.
Drawback: only onsite parking for 9 cars, but a reasonably priced carpark was only 2 blocks away.
Terrible. Hotel is old and desperate need of upgrading and repairs. On top of that I booked a double room w a double bed and we were given a handicapped accessible room with two twin beds. Would never stay here again nor recommend to others!
The property location is outstanding as I traveled by train. Its central location makes walking around very convenient. Dozens of nearby dining options as well.

Parking can be tough if you don’t get lucky with the few spots in front. Overall property is a little run down, bathroom needs some work. Otherwise, a fine property for the value
This is the perfect location when staying in Inverness. Everything is so walkable from shopping and dinning to the coach and train station. The staff were helpful and would recomend this hotel everytime.

Average hotel for premium price
Very average room small but clean. Conveniently located at the train station. There are better or less expensive hotels in the area. Breakfast was very basic. Do not recommend.
You're right in the middle of everything Inverness. Very walkable. Great pubs and history. Room was olds school and comfortable. Not a great view. But hey, not every view in a city hotel is going to be awesome. Easily walkable to everything we wanted to see. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great stay for us!
