Check in was quick, reception and staircase lovely. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Only negative comment would be that the windows were filthy on the outside, badly needing cleaned. Our room was at the front if the hotel, road busy at peak times but plenty crossings. Great location for bars/restaurants and bus station. Hotel had a lovely pool with loungers/seating area. Breakfast was buffet but always hot and extensive choice.

Clean room but a bit dated. Breakfast very good. Very limited offer of food in the evening. Only the a la carte menu. The light bite menu could only be eaten as room service. Some of the staff could not be bothered to help

Overall, very satisfied with our 1 week stay at the Savoy Hotel, Jersey. The hotel is located a relatively 15min, short, flat walk from St Helier shopping area. Alternatively there are bus stops close by which connect to the central bus station in St Helier. The hotel car park is located at the front of the hotel and always had free spaces during our stay. The hotel is clean, very well maintained and staffed. The staff were always polite and helpful during our stay. Our room was quiet, located at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool. The room furnishings were OK, but replacing the large outdated dark wooden furniture would improve the space and feel of the room. The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. Free Wi-Fi was available. The inclusive buffet breakfast was excellent quality with a typical range of hot and cold options. The restaurant and bar area were smart and the food we had in there was very good. The bar hosts a live Jazz band on Friday evenings. During our stay in mid Sept I would gauge the majority of the residents demographic as mid to senior age. Would we stay at the Savoy again? Yes. But the visit Jersey box has now been ticked.

The hotel was first class, breakfast excellent quality and plentiful. Spacious room with every facility. Situated in the heart of St Helier it provided easy walking access to the vibrant shopping areas and plentiful restaurants. Hotel parking an extra charge.

Very good hotel. Staff were helpful and quick to respond. Quiet enoigh except jazz night (my room was on ground floor which was great but a bit loud when jazz was on. Had to close the windows). Would definitely book again. Great location for central St Helier walking or driving.

When you visit and stay in a 4star! Hotel you expect to be able to eat in the restaurant not to be told it’s full in the evening. We had to get a taxi to another hotel in St Helier to have Dinner. Was told breakfast was served till 10 am. We found you were glared at by the staff when we turned up after 0930. This is not a 4 star hotel. We didn’t expect to be told the Bar was closing at 10.45 when we were residents in the Hotel. Poor show. House keeping was 100 percent top job. If the hotel gives you room 50. Don’t take it. The staff will wake you up making noise outside your window.

Girls holiday

Lovely hotel room was good size bed was comfortable it was clean and had good bathroom also had iron in room which was handy if needed. Breakfast was included and had enough choice to set you up for the day. We ate in the 1840 restaurant one evening and really enjoyed our meal. Would definitely book again if I return to Jersey.

Enjoyed the breakfast very much, great choice. Bedding clean and crisp. Extras were a clothes iron and board, air fan, hairdryer. The ground floor reception areas are impressive but upstair carpets rather dirty and worn in places, dated bedroom furnishings. No natural light in room 39 on first floor as window surrounded outside by three walls and pipework. Unfortunately there were live silverfish insects found in the shower room and on second day small cockroaches also (german variety). A pleasant female receptionist immediately moved us to an upgraded pool view room for the third and final day of our stay. The only other staff we spoke with was a very unwelcoming, negative and almost rude female receptionist on our arrival 6pm 12th Sept 2025, not good!
