For a fair price and a bed, this hotel is not bad at all. You just have to know what you are getting into - this hotel is a bit dated compared to other ones near by. Yes, you can pay $30 more to perhaps get a better building, and yes, you can pay $30 more to get one with a pool. This property, however, is clean, convenient (by driving only, and requires a U-turn if you are coming from the west), and most importantly, the staff here is professional, courteous, and eager to help. Will I stay here again? Yes, absolutely. The room comes with Wi-Fi, a TV, a working shower (and tub, which is getting rare these days), noisy but functional AC (in fact too functional) and refrigerator.

A couple of things. The motel is very conveniently located near the hospital which was important for us. We were unable to control the heat and were actually cold but fortunately had some blankets in the car. We requested a plug for bath tub on the first nite but didn’t get one during our stay. Shower was available but tub use was impossible.

We ended up only being in our room for 5 minutes before going to the office to request a refund. The room had graffiti on the door, smelled like cigarettes and was horribly dirty. There were homeless people wandering through the alley. The staff were very helpful and understanding.

The room was good as expected, the breakfast however was unacceptable, the names Howard Johnson and Wyndham did not deliver at this location. Breakfast selection was very poor, breakfast room had an unpleasant odor, was unclean and just unappetizing, we ate breakfast elsewhere. People choose hotels that include breakfast as a convenience, either include it properly with a good selection in a clean inviting room or do not include it at all!

Crazy amount of children allowed to run around from morning til night, pounding on the walls and the floor and outside. I love kids but management should have done something about this, perhaps reminded the parents of respecting others' stay. The beds were falling apart, everything needed updating. I mean it was cheap but not worth it to stay again.
