Good Value Motel

Pros: The breakfast was very good value with the dining room overlooking the river.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. While the motel is a few minutes drive from town, it sits astride the river and has a beautiful outlook over the river. This motel (given its age) competes with newer accommodation hotels (and higher priced) in the city area, but for us it was great value and would recommend to anyone wanting a value priced stay.

Cheap accomodation for short stay

Room was clean but no facility for hot drinks. Whole complex very dated and some unusual smells in building. Ok for relatively cheap short stay. Breakfast quite good.

One night stopover

My husband and I just needed a place to stay on our way through from whistler to Banff. This hotel was affordable and seemed clean and comfortable in their pictures. When we arrived it looks very run down from the outside, the rooms have a strange smell about them, our bedding had other people's hair on it (I'm hoping the cleaners not previous guests) and to top it off we were on the second floor and being that we are on a 3.5 wk honeymoon, we have big suitcases and the only way up to our floor was by 4 flights of stairs which made getting our luggage up to our room very difficult. Not a pleasant experience and was glad to leave.

Perfect economy hotel

This hotel is economy style with a basic facade etc but the rooms are big clean and very comfortable. The staff are great and keen to please . I would have no hesitation in staying here again as the value for money is great .
