Beautiful old building

The Plaza is in the heart of downtown Kamloops. Victoria street is lovely and walkable with many cafes, restaraunts and locally owned shops.

The staff were over run with bus tourists and we couldn’t get served in bar. Breakfast was a zoo and had a hard time getting table or food. I think we were there at the wrong time. We always stay here when in Kamloops and this was the first time this happened.

Not a safe area, I wouldn’t recommend it. Extremely old building with weird smells , poor condition, and aged facilities, you'll find the bathroom super small an difficult to fit!

You can get better hotel at this price. We paid for the parking even though it was free. Chose the option to pay at hotel but they charged us 24 hours before. Not going back

Pretty building with some interesting and unique features including an updated “antique” ambiance. Hidden costs, like a charge for parking which I paid for and then struggled to find a spot. (I was lucky a car was leaving!) The front desk clerk was on their phone through most of my check in… Would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room. Some drug-use outside the Tumbleweeds bar/patio where I sat with my daughter. The bed itself was comfortable and the pillows and sheets were crisp and clean. (I do appreciate that!) Noise came through from other rooms and I could clearly hear conversations in the hall. As I say, quaintly pretty but I am unlikely to return.

The property is located downtown so location is great. however the Property is old an tired. The room I had was dirty and not updated at all. Not worth the price and not a 4 star property.

Very nice staff, the room was clean and we were impressed. Only issue is that this hotel is located DT Kamloops around some bar type areas and there are some interesting people walking around day & nighttime.

The fact they charge you for a parking spot is not an issue with me but when you come back to the hotel at 10 o’clock on a Friday night to find all of the spots full by people at the night clubs was very annoying. I went in to ask for a solution and the only one was to park 3 blocks away and walk back through all of the pot heads & drunkards. They said there was nothing they could do which led me to point out, if they had parking passes they could tow everyone that didn’t have one, SIMPLE!
