Havana Cabana is a wonderful hotel in New Town. We were very happy with the location and the amenities offered. A shuttle (included in the resort fee) runs every 1/2 hour to Old Town and is a real bonus. The heated pool is a great way to spend the day and there are plenty of loungers for all guests. The poolside bar offers great food and drink options. We will definitely return to Havana Cabana our next trip to Key West.

We had a nice stay. The company double charged us for a meal we paid for in cash. Twice they charged our card after we disputed the charge. They paid back one of the charges but state that they gave us back cash after we had already returned home. I have called four times trying to resolve this. Now they are refusing to pay us back. Watch your credit card closely with this business.

Great spot!

Place was awesome, very friendly. Clean, and fun. Always had cold drinks, and great food around that awesome pool area. Although it was up the road from the party scene they sure did make up for it with the amenities. Will definitely be back!

Only disconnect: dirty laundry was left at front desk with promise of going out next morning and return same afternoon. The ball was dropped and the dirty laundry was never picked up for cleaning … now taking those items home.

The Reception area is really nice and it has a great pool and the we grounds were kept well. Staff were very friendly and all tried to be helpful. However, when we get the room a different story. We supposedly had a pool view but we were in the ground floor no patio or balcony to sit or dry swimwear. Inside the room doors all warped because of inadequate airflow.2 queen beds so capable of housing 4 adults. There was a child size closet which had safe in it and a couple of drawers. No floorspace to put cases and nowhere to unpack them into. There was one did high barstool type chair at a counter and no mirror in the room just in the bathroom. I’ve stayed in better equipped motel 6 etc than this “resort”They are trying to say it’s a resort but nowhere near enough facilities for this - a Jell-O shot if you happen to be there at the appointed time and a few soggy churros at happy hour are not enough. Limited to a food truck on the property for food options at least it was close to a supermarket and other mediocre food choices. There is no beach across the street. Fortunately it wasn’t too busy while we were there and we were able to utilize the shuttle when we needed it. The “resort fee” god the hand car parking is not appreciated-just build it into the room rate. Would not stay here ever again it’s not worth the money. Received texts during our stay but no surprise that I did not receive a response to my complaints about the musty smelling room with its problems.

Had issues with being picked up at the airport when we arrived and never recieved a text that we were told we would for checking in to our room since we had flew in and had some time to kill till checkin. We will definitely stay downtown next time, not here.

We believe that Havana cabana should not be presented as a four star hotel. We were assigned a room that looked terrible from an exterior standpoint. When we open the door, a parking lot is right next to us. It felt like being at a motel six. And on the positive side, the pool area was extremely beautiful. The hotel lobby and staff were very nice. The housekeeping was very nice. It’s just where our room was located in the one40 through 46 section was very dirty to look at from the outside. Inside the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. In short, if this was rated properly, we would’ve stayed somewhere else. We wanted to stay at a four-star hotel.
