I am disappointed that my hotel room lacks blackout curtains. The Christmas lights shining from nearby are keeping me awake, as I need complete darknessff to sleep. I am bothered that the pool hours weren't clearly listed on Expedia. When checking in, I learned that the pool opens at 9 am and checkout is at 11 am. Most hotel pools usually open between 6 and 7 am. Also, the tea station doesn't have peppermint tea. I've stayed at Hampton Inns before, and I expect peppermint tea bags to be a standard amenity, which they are q the pool opens at 9 am, I would have booked elsewhere in Kingston. Lastly, I had trouble connecting to the internet. I was almost forced to sign up for a spammy Hilton Rewards program, which was frustrating. It nearly tricked me into paying for wifi that was listed as free.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the room heater was not working. The staff took a long time to realize we would need to change rooms. It was a difficult process. We felt that we should have received an upgrade for the inconvenience. We frequently stay at Hampton Inn during our North American travels and have received exceptional service. We are disappointed by the way the front office handled our situation.

The room was cold. The heaters don’t work when we turned them on. Cold air was coming through the door too. No extra blankets. It was cold. Other than that, room was spacious and comfortably cold. Take your own portable heater if you plan on staying at this hotel.

Oh it was excellent and the reason we picked the hotel ! Was for the pool and hot tub Your front desk staff and breakfast staff were helpful and excellent. And you could tell all your staff enjoyed working here all smiling no one rude! And free coffe and tea at all time. We enjoyed our stay and ended up staying another night!
