Great stay

A nice and comfort budget hotel. The hotel location was closed to bus and subway stations. The receptionists were nice and helpful. There is luggage drop off service available in this hotel. You can enjoy your last day in Kyoto without luggage. We enjoyed our stay in Fugastay Shijo Omiya.

Very basic hotel. More like a hostel. No cleaning for 3 nights. You could have new towels if you wanted. Difficult to use English at this hotel. Check-in time 15 and no restroom when you arrive and the room is not ready.

It was relatively cheap find with accessible location. However, i had some non pleasant stay there. 1. The room smelled bad and i had to buy air freshener spray, 2. We stayed in 4th floor and corridor fan was very loud, ended up couldn’t sleep for the first night.
