Close to transportation, friendly staff. hotel wall a little thin, you can hear your neighbor snoozing. Futon not for people used to soft bed.

Lovely hotel, convenient walking distance to shops and the train station. The owner was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Noise from other rooms can carry a bit, but wasn't too bad. Definitely the nicest place I stayed over my two weeks in Japan.

Good option close to Kyoto station

We spent one night at Guest Inn Chita. We chose it because of its proximity to the main train station. This is a traditional japanese inn. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. It helped that she spoke english. The room was small and simple but comfortable and clean. This facility has shared bathrooms and showers which were spotless. The walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors’s conversation but fortunately it didn’t prevent us from having a good night sleep. Given the price, this is an excellent option in the Kyoto station neighborhood for a few nights.

Très agréable séjour dans une demeure traditionnelle à côté du Higashi Hongan-ji, donc proche de la gare. L'aimable Kahori parle un excellent anglais, rare au Japon. On se sent comme à la maison ! Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

老闆和老闆的家人都很親切，房間環境很乾淨，距離東本願寺非常近，非常適合到京都自助旅行的遊客，能體會住在日式房子 的感受。

Un super hôtel, très bien placé, à environ de moins de 10 minutes de la gare, une superbe vue sur la tour de Kyoto et la gérante de l’hôtel était très accueillante et qui parle très bien anglais et qui en train d’apprendre le français. C’est un super hôtel que je recommande
