Room and staff were great, they never cleaned my room unless asked which was my favorite thing and the room instayed in was clean fresh. The location was only a quick jont from the kyoto station, but it's kind of nestled in a weird location making you have to walk a bit to get anywhere. But they tried to account for this by providing some of the immidiete services in-house. The area it is in however is quiet and lightly traveled, with a network to get anywhere in kyoto on foot if you so wished.
