Great room for 4 people, nice size bathroom, separate toilet. The kitchen dining area on the ground floor was a great space, bright room and large enough for a few families to use at once. It was always very clean.

5-7 min walk from train station. Has elevators! Shared kitchen and dining on 1st floor if you want to use it. Otherwise, there's a lot of food to choose from in Kyoto train station (it's a train station/mall/restuarants).

The room is very clean, the area is a block away from convenience store and few blocks from train stations. Upon check in, you will be told to take out your trash to the designated area which is just outside the lobby. There is no room service If you need luggage transfer, you have to bring it to their office which is 7-10 minutes walk, this is one of the hassle with Resi Stay. Also, there’s not much restaurants close by.

Nice hotel but no one works at reception except at night. They make you take your own trash out and clean your own room which is crazy for how much you pay. Not the best location but it was about a 10 min walk from Kyoto station.

We only stayed one night. The check-in was about a 5 minute walk to the actual accommodations. The fellow who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly, we felt very welcome. He explained the facilities well. It is a self-service accommodation, no frills. There was storage facility at the actual building we stayed in, where we put our luggage. Check-in is only offered during specified hours, and there was a girl who somewhat assisted us. She pretty much just pointed to the lock-box and told us to get our keys there. There is a kitchen available for everyone, and washer&dryer in main floor area. I would definitely stay again, even for longer period. Definitely would recommend. But do not expect lots of service or amenities.

Very close to Kyoto Station. Several locations to eat around. Price was great too. Very comfortable and central place to stay at. I would return again.

The location is great, close to Kyoto Station and there bus stops nearby. Some good restaurants around. You can also visit the supermarket in a few hundred meters where you could find many fresh food at budget prices. The common kitchen is basic which only support very lightly cooking but still convenient. The free washing machines and dryers are very handy. We will recommend to stay in this hotel.

The hotel is below medicore. I travel a lot and this was probably one of the reviews that I have given such low reviews too. The room was not what we booked, The room smelled like sewer and the towels were stained. There is no towel service, no regular front desk attendant, and everything is very remedial at the best. I would not recommend this hotel.

Given wrong info about luggage delivery service

Kyoto station counter staff gave us the wrong information about the luggage delivery service. We were told that the delivery service was suspended in the WHOLE Japan and delivering our 3 big luggages to Tokyo hotel before we leave for our 2 days trip to Shirakawa-go is not possible at all. We were able to send it via the Kyoto Post Office after some mad rush and disruption to our itinerary. There was no suspension of service nor possible delay conveyed to us at the post office. It would have been a disaster if we were to bring the luggages thru many train rides and bus rides in heavy snow during our 2 days trip before we arrive at Tokyo. We did receive our luggages in time in Tokyo without any delay at the end.
