I stayed in a traditional Japanese Tatami room for the first time, it was a nice surprise! The buffet breakfast included was a very nice gesture. Staff were friendly and helpful - the lift somehow stops at the second floor (front desk) everytime regardless- not sure why!

The location was very convenient. Right beside one of the subway entry/exits and about a 10-15 minute walk from the main Kyoto JR station. When staying for a long period of time, they clean your room every 3 days. They still give you a change of towels and rubbish bin every day. I would rate cleanliness at 3/5.

Nice hotel

Property is very very close to the station. Which is handy especially after a long day of walk. Breakfast is very limited and not worth of 1000 yen. We just got few things from family mart opposite to the hotel. Got daily towels changed. Overall nice stay
