Communication issues

The property was as described and very clean. I was not given check in instructions, i messaged the host the night before we were arriving and twice the day we arrived. No response. I had to call VRBO customer service. The host finally responded and after some discussion. I was given the instructions 30 minutes after my check in time (host argued check in time, but i have an email from VRBO proving 4pm check in time) After that very stressful call to VRBO (thinking we had nowhere to stay) the stay was uneventful. The space is good, very clean. Couch is advertised as sleeps 2. It would only sleep 2 small children very uncomfortably. Location was good, very clean, housekeeper was sweet. My advice is invest in a proper couch (it was very flimsy , small and cheap) and please make sure that you send check in instructions in a timely manner. Don't assume VRBO sends them. They didn't and it was extremely stressful having to track down the information myself via VRBO customer service.
