Great location, friendly staff. Stayed in original 47 room Thursday - Sunday nights and was a little noisy Friday and Saturday but was to be expected with all of the clubs and bars nearby. Area very safe at all hours. Breakfast at Seigels was delicious and HUGE! Thanks for a great stay El Cortez!

The room was in good condition. But, i did have an issue with the bathroom. There was a little rust surrounding the drain in the shower. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower was very low. There was water leaking from the hot water knob when the water was on. I would've given the room 5 stars if it weren't for those issues.

Rough. My room was on the ground floor facing the street, and I expected some noise, but this was extreme. The loud techno music went on literally all night, and I finally gave up and left at 5:30 AM to catch my flight with almost no sleep. This place might be fine if you plan to be out all night at the nearby bars, but if you need a quiet room or have an early flight, I would not recommend staying here.

Very obviously dated, shower drain had you shower in a lake of your own bath water. However it’s a very budget property and the staff was all curious and the bed and pillows were nice and clean.
