Wifi did not work on floor 12 until I waited 30 minutes every time for it to connect. Hotel is showing its age, dark halls, drab colors, interior remodeling on the cheap. Room was clean and amenities were Resupply by housekeeping. Stay elsewhere if you want a modern Vegas feel.

They don’t have breakfast, they gave us a room overlooking the top of the furnaces, even though I paid more for a view and a new renovated room, doesn’t look like one. The resort fee is just too much with the parking $20 a day. The lobby has too much smoke that you get suffocated from passing through going to the hotel room.

The room was fine. The staff seem afraid to make a mistake. I was quickly approached by staff & told not to use the same glass to refill my drink. I was told the cameras are watching them & could get in trouble for allowing it to happen. The buffet was VERY limited. There wasn’t a variety to choose from. We also waited 45 minutes to pay & be seated, only to be told the buffet stopped serving was over at 2PM. Disappointed.

The breakfast buffet was fine, and I realize it's Las Vegas, but $44 for someone who doesn't drink alcohol seemed a little steep. Also, there was a stench that greeted me upon exiting the elevator reminding me of a paper mill. From what I gather, I'm not the only one who has realized this. However, I did enjoy your stay, the staff was courteous and responsive, and I felt my personal property and me were both secure during my time there. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were great, the temperature control was accurate.

Aside from the persistent ticket sellers just as you enter the hotel, the staff are reasonably polite and rooms were clean. The rooms could use some updates for charging ports etc. We walked through several different hotels along the strip during our stay and the Excalibur has by far, the most cigarette smoke smell. More ventilation would be good.
