I gave this resort/casino “good” ratings across the board because it is a good place to stay. It was clean, I felt safe and there are many entertainment options. We swam in the pools, shopped, saw the Knights show, gambled and ate at the restaurants. I went in a girls trip with my SILs and we had a great time. This resort is affordable and perfect for what we wanted and needed.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly option on the Las Vegas Strip with a fun, family-friendly vibe, The Excalibur Hotel & Casino offers decent value — as long as you know what to expect. Room: The rooms are basic but clean. I stayed in a Resort Tower King Room, which had been updated a bit — newer furniture, decent bed, and a flat-screen TV. Nothing luxurious, but good enough if you just need a place to sleep. Bathrooms are small and dated, and walls are thin, so noise from the hallway or neighbors might be an issue. Casino & Amenities: The casino is large and has a medieval theme that adds a bit of charm, though it feels slightly dated compared to more modern hotels. There are plenty of slot machines and lower-stakes tables, which makes it approachable for casual gamblers. The pool area was nice — not too crowded — but nothing extravagant. There's also a small spa and a decent gym. Dining: Food options are affordable but pretty average. The buffet is okay for the price, and there’s a food court with fast food options if you're in a hurry. Dick’s Last Resort is a fun, rowdy experience (if you’re into that kind of humor), and there are connections to Luxor and Mandalay Bay if you want more upscale dining nearby. It is on the far end of the strip, but it was a good time to be there. There are several kids though. I was also told one thing by MGM Rewards and another by the front desk which lead to me spending an extra 100 dollars. When I asked if anything could be done by the front desk, she just said no because I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia).

Front desk staff, blah

Awesome hotel with appropriate decor! The staff was all wonderful except for the front desk; upon our check-in, the woman who helped us was not very friendly and acted like we were wasting her time with too many questions.
