For the value we couldn't have asked for much more. Just know what you are getting. The public areas of the property are getting run down. Our room in the Ipanema tower was nice and the beds were comfortable, but smelled very much of smoke when you enter. We had friends in the other tower and their carpet was soaking wet and smelled of mold, they ended up moving to our tower. The pool was nicely remodeled and quiet, although not all open, so they were limiting the amount of people that could enter. Hotel is off the main strip so it is much quieter than most of the others.

Hotel is surprisingly nice, clean and the room was very spacious. (Remodeled high floor king suite). 2 of us got sick from the same frozen drink at the pool, but I'll chalk that up to bad odds. Other than that, really great place.

It seems that the exterior is the only enhancement there’s been since opening in 1990. The carpet was stained. The amenities in the room were dated, there was calcium buildup around the sink faucet. The water in both the sink and tub had a slow drain so I had to stand in water to shower. The $100/night incidental is a bit much for this place.

The experience was great, I'll return to stay here, my new remodel room was the best. Yes the lobby smells like smoke there working on it, yes the windows need cleaning there working on it, yes nothing perfect but I'd recommend my family and friends to stay here
