Booked because offered A/C. Appeared locked to their max allowed. Thermo showed my attempt for 18c but temp never changed, lowered: 20? 22? Customer had no control. Heavy duvet, noting visit during extreme heat wave. No top sheet, finally enptied duvet cover of duvet, used cover as sheet covering. Travelers to UK, Europe need be aware hotels generally set A/C 'max'/min. temp. Customer cannot lower, adjust. Lobby noticeably comfortably cool. Mattress very comfortable. TV in odd viewing area if watch from bed. Nice older property with updated fixtures. Atmosphere pleasant.
