Tucked in a quiet cul-de-sac just a few minutes’ walk from Elie’s beach, shops and restaurants, this modern detached bungalow is a bright, pet-friendly base for relaxed coastal breaks. Fully refurbished to a high standard in 2023, it sleeps 4 in two comfortable bedrooms with two bathrooms, and has off-road parking plus a carport that leads straight into the house – ideal for unloading luggage, shopping, children and sandy dogs. All on one level with a fully accessible new wet room and no internal thresholds, it’s especially well suited to families, guests with limited mobility or two couples sharing.

Inside, the open-plan living/dining room feels light and spacious, with large windows overlooking the enclosed rear garden. Two comfy leather sofas, a flat screen TV with Sky channels, DVD player, Wi-Fi, books and games make it easy to unwind after a day on the beach or nearby coastal paths. The modern dining table with four chairs also works well as a laptop-friendly spot if you’re working remotely. The fitted kitchen continues the fresh, contemporary feel, with coordinated worktops, dishwasher, integrated fridge, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and washer/dryer, plus a door leading straight out to the garden.

The master bedroom has a “ridiculously comfortable” king-size bed, good wardrobe space and an en suite fully accessible wet room with shower, grab bar, fold-down seat, WC and wash hand basin.
