This was the best experience. We appreciated and loved the mountains, the cute animals on the property, the friendly staff and how they took care of us and the room. Its not a fancy place but it gave us a genuine taste of kauai. Also I decided to propose at the kauai inn and it went beautifully. Thank you.

There were so many things to love about Kauai Inn! Next trip to Kauai will find us back here. There was a totally different vibe at Kauai Inn: Hawaiian music softly playing in the background, Friday night open air movies, live music on the patio several nights per week, a welcome continental breakfast on the patio with muffins that are out of this world, and a staff that was happy, polite, and responsive to our needs. Although the rooms require upgrading (plans are underway!), the beds were unbelievably comfortable, just what we needed after a full day of exploring the island. We will be back!

Lovely property, very helpful staff. Because of bridge being out and apps giving absolutely wrong directions, we had to call the front desk who guided us in by phone! Then several other issues (which restaurants deliver, printing boarding passes) were ably managed by Kina. Love the resident cats, peacocks and even the ubiquitous chickens. Nice rooms, nice pool, good music and morning breakfast buffet. Would definitely come again.

I throughly enjoyed staying at the Kauai Inn! The room was spotless and turned over every day we were there and deep cleaned every 3rd day. The area which the Inn is located is quiet and relaxed. I love that the inn has a backyard area where you can rest and relax. I also loved that they would have live music every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (plus they are VERY good)! They have a couple stray cats and one of the nights one of the cats curled up and sat on me while we listened to the live singer. It was a magical moment. The staff was also magical and sweet! One of the newer girls at the front was very helpful on giving us tips on where to go and what to do and eat on the island which all the recommendations were amazing! The breakfast in the morning is also a very nice touch. I also felt like everything was pretty close when it came to driving places. The inn also has local peacock which are also a treat to see. Will most definitely be coming back and will recommend it to friends and family.

Location: A little inconvenient getting into downtown due to the bridge being closed, but the drive is pretty short (10mins) so honestly no big deal! Service: Perfect, very welcoming and family style. Cleanliness: Very clean, no issues at all! Room style: A bit outdated but cozy. Noise: Lots of ambient noise from roosters, music and folks outside. Not much insulation from noise. AC and fan were pretty loud. Bathroom: Vented door seemed odd, small toilet for tall folks.

Nice room at the end of the hall. It did have a lot of stairs, which caused me a bit of an issue. We loved the poolside entertainment each evening. Wonderful music and hula dancer. Front desk was very helpful. We enjoyed our visit.

The staff was courteous and the breakfast was good. However, it was dated and the room was small. The roosters crowed early and loudly every morning. The window unit a/c helped drown out the rooster noise when it kicked on. Their no refund/cancel policy is in effect after a certain date of booking.

Owner was super nice. Rooms were clean and supplied with essentials. Breakfast was great. Just watch out if using gps make sure it shows bridge is out. The way in has a beautiful skyline view of cliffs and the river.

This is a quaint, charming place to stay! There is a lovely morning breakfast held in the open-air lounge at the reservation desk area. What a nice way to meet other travelers! That same area hosts a guitarist who does Hawaiian music 3 nights a week, and he was accompanied by a wonderful hula dancer. It was such a special, personal experience! I would go back just for the lovely coziness!

The property had beautiful trees with flowers throughout. It also had great amenities such as outdoor movies and live music at night. The backdrop was a beautiful view of mountains. if back on Kaua’i, we would love to visit again.

This is a nice hotel for a reasonably price on Kauia. The guy at check in was super friendly and helpful and quick. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and green and well manicured. This place has the best of both worlds because it feels remote and secluded and in the jungle, but is only a 10 minute drive to all the major stores and restaurants. I really liked this hotel and will definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended.
