Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.In the morning breakfast was very good and it was free Enjoyed talking to other travelers. Office staffs were friendly and helpful. Parking was free. Enjoyed the surrounding and peacocks reminded us small village back home. I would recommend without any reservation.

Very pleasant to have the live music several days per week. Breakfast was good but started too late ( 7am). The mountain views are stunning. They lend you beautiful beach towel, and the place is very quiet. Beds are comfortable and you have a fridge and microwave inside the bedroom.

There is a broken bridge so you have to drive around a few farms to get to it. But it is worth it. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Live entertainment even on a Wednesday night. And she was good. At least 10 cats wandering around the property. Room very clean. Close walk from car to room. Beautiful mountain views. Special hotel. My second time here.

The air conditioning was noisy but you get used to it. There had been an issue with the septic field which was close to our room and would smell bad sometimes

We had a last minute flight change and were able to stay in this, the first ever hotel in all of Hawaii. The owner gave us a personal walk through its rich history after a good night’s rest. It’s not the nicest of hotels, but what it lacks, it more than makes up for it in their service and hospitality. Would definitely stay again ◡̈

Great place to stay for just my wife and I. I don’t think I would bring my family back to this place for the slight lack of accommodations compared to other places on the island. That being said, it was a great place to stay. Very dated, but centrally located and the staff were very helpful and kind.

The Kauai Inn is both charming and elegant. I have now stayed here twice and I love it. The people are kind and gracious; the included breakfast is wonderful; and the atmosphere and location of the inn is stunning. I could sit all day just watching the amazing mountains behind the inn or watching the massive clouds move across the sky. So much beauty here and no hustle/bustle. This is a simple, clean, and special place where one can relax and take in the beauty of the location.

The staff is very nice! Taryn checked us in and we chatted with Leonard doing the garden work. Super nice folks work here but I didn’t get names.. love the cats & chickens too. Wish there were shades on the door windows because it was too bright for us. The A/C worked well but was kind of loud..our only suggestions - shades for the door windows & not so noisy A/C if possible.

The staff were helpful and friendly. It is possible to use their umbrella, beach chairs, towels and flip flops. The breakfast was ordinary. Wish they had some eggs or protein options. The bed was comfortable but the the room had a loud air conditioner. It is an old hotel that was not upgraded . Housekeeping was not consistent they skipped some days. The place has potential but needs upgrading
