We really enjoyed our stay. It was located exactly where we wanted, amongst lots of thrift shops, but an easy metro ride into downtown. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and they were helpful in prodiving information when needed.

We loved our stay at Hotel Luena! We needed something for our group of 7, with elevator, flat neighborhood, walkable to restaurants, and close to port and airport and Hotel Luena fit our needs perfectly! The check in person and check out person were excellent (both young men) and a special shout out to the check out person who made us sandwiches at 3am and packed us breakfasts to go. That is above and beyond! The breakfast buffet was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had with a wide variety of healthy foods. The hotel was quiet and close to everywhere we needed to go and was affordable. I would absolutely recommend!

The staff were friendly and the hotel is in a great location. The rooms are a bit small (typical in a large city) but were clean and functional. Great hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. They made our birthday celebration truly special by leaving a thoughtful surprise in our room—a birthday card, pastéis de Belém, and a bottle of wine. There are two metro stations nearby, and it’s just three blocks from Tram 28, which is perfect if you want to visit the castle. We had a delicious breakfast in the Pasteleria Monte Rei just in the next corner.
