I had two back-to-back reservations for a total of four nights. The second reservation (made through Expedia) accidentally ended up with the wrong date. I noticed the mistake immediately and contacted both Expedia and the hotel to simply shift the stay by one day so the two bookings would match.
Despite it being an easy adjustment and despite my request being made right after booking, the hotel refused to accommodate the change. When I arrived in person and explained the situation again, they still declined to help. As a result, I had to pay for an additional booking, while the original night—on the wrong date—went unused.
I’ve never experienced a hotel so unwilling to make a reasonable correction, especially for a continuous stay. This inflexibility turned what should have been a simple fix into an unnecessary expense and a frustrating experience.
