Room was lovely, clean, fresh. Another chair would of been nice as we only had one but that’s just me being picky Staff are so lovely and helpful at check in. Stayed a couple of times and it’s always pleasant. The late check out is a great option too

Room was small and dark. Not what was as advertised online. Very noisy during the night from street below. Poor quality mattress. En suit was okay. Would not class as a superior double!? It was very standard.

The room was spotless and the rest of the hotel was clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Only thing lacking was information regarding basic info about the meal times, room service, etc. The bed was not the comfiest as it was 2 singles pushed together. Hallways were like saunas.

Room was excellent for 1 person . Clean bedding and comfortable mattress. Great heat in the room and if it was to hot I was able to open the window. Breakfast was very good and made fresh. I had no faults with the hotel and would stay here again. Also in walking distance for the city centre.

the room was clean, the breakfast was fine, the staff were great, i've only given it 3 stars because the sound proofing around the window and cealing above is shocking, we could here the shower flowing, some ones phone buzzing in the room above , and the noise from outside, even from flying seagulls was like they were in your room, there's no draught proofing or sound proofing or insulation around the window

The hotel had no parking. It wasnt fresh as seen on the website. Rooms were small hot and lights not working To pay £187 for one night the experience environment was no way worth that money The room had a funky smell. Good location but will to pay that for one might i expected more

Judging it on a 3 star rating, it was better than expected. The staff were friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and hot, service was very good. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable. Although the furnishings and decor in the bedroom is dated the en-suite looked modern and again very clean. Unable to turn radiator down so very warm. There was an exclusive event booked for the Saturday night so we were unable to use any of the bar or lounge facilities. This was disappointing as we had gone as a big group and would have ended the evening with a night cap. An email would have been useful. Overall a comfortable stay in a beautiful building steeped in history.

Room was clean and tidy, and always made up very well each morning only downside with the room was there was no hooks to hang clothes or drawer to put clothes there was a small wardrobe with hangers which was ok for shirts... no aircon but its winter so not an issue. The breakfast was first class as was the waiting staff.
