The titianic is a very unique hotel, with its industrial design. The room (standard) was large, considering it was a standard, with a good range of facilities. Only a few things regarding the room was that there was a stain on the bedding, and the trim of the shower was coming off, but overall beautiful rooms. We used the spa facilities and for £20 you can’t go wrong! Travelling out of the hotel is tricky unless you drive or order an uber into town (not too expensive, around £5) The staff were great, and we were offered a warm reception. On leaving, the car parking is pay on exit and secure

Fantastic stay in a piece of architectural history

Fantastic one night stay, check on friendly and efficient, managed to get a parking space and we went straight to our room. The property is sark but it is totally in keeping with the architecture which is a Hartley marvel. Went into Liverpool for family meal and an Uber was only £6 each way. Breakfast was great, considering it is a buffet the food was fresh and hot, there are plenty of cold options as well. The only downside was the powerful fan in the bathroom which did go off at 11.00pm but came back on at 6.30am. We would definitely return.

A lovely unique hotel. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. As it was a special birthday and rather last minute booking I tried to use the thermal suite but it was booked up. This was disappointing. The room was comfortable, spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom. The carpet was a little threadbare in some places although given that the room was rather dark as were the corridors in the hotel then it was not that noticeable. Some of the furniture and the hardware (light switches) looked like they had seen better days although maybe the shabby chic is the appeal. The bed was comfy and towels were thick and fluffy. Breakfast was a great assortment of hot and cold food, and again staff were friendly and attentive. Some of the cooked breakfast items were not particularly hot and the coffee was not either (thermal flasks are not the best imo). Overall it was a decent experience and given the amazing deal I got was good value. I would say if I’d paid full price I’d have been a little disappointed given that the hotel has such a good reputation for being luxurious.

Visited in the winter and the property was cold (also the rooms). Beautiful building with a great spa and very polite staff. Food was average and the location requires a vehicle. (A 20 min walk to the main port area). Not many choices for lactose intolerant visitors and was required to sign a waiver before some meals. Will not be returning.

The hotel is amazing we didn't want to leave. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the size of the room was huge. The only thing that was disappointing is that you have to pay for the spa which you would thing would be free with it being a 4 star hotel. But besides that we really enjoyed our stay.

Impressive Hotel

We had a lovely stay and amazing how the building has been converted. Room and bathroom is huge and tastefully decorated. We found breakfast expensive with it being £18 per person and then a 10% service charge was added. It is a self-service breakfast with only tea and coffee being served. Our stay was booked by our son as was a present and we added a night. The reason we added a night was to try and book in at the thermal spa. The spa is quite small and only offers a certain amount of spaces. If you only want to use the spa (£20 hotel resident), more spaces if you opt for a treatment but too expensive for us and the express treatments are not in this allocation. Spa needs a bit of attention i thought especially shower area with curtains not great and ceiling above showers need attention, no hanging hook in shower area but my husband said there was in the male shower area. We asked for a different bed in spa as was broken but no-one came back to us. In my opinion the spa is too small for the amount of rooms the hotel has. It is a nice touch though but needs a bit of TLC i think. The hotel is situated by Stanley Dock, a good 30 minute walk along the dockside to main dock area and 5/10 minute walk to Albert Dock. Maybe quicker walking other way but straight walk dockside. Not advisable to walk at night as is a quiet area. Uber was inexpensive between £7-£10 depending on times and days. We love Liverpool, it’s a great city.

Fab stay

90% of our stay was fabulous. Only a few little niggles. The positives: The room was huge! Very comfy bed and having a sofa was a plus. We were asked upon check in if we wanted a room with a bath (which we did). So that was good. The room was pitch black once all lights were off and windows closed, even in the morning. Lots of space for clothes. Staff and service was excellent. The spa (additional cost) was the best spa I’ve been to! The pool area was low lit, quiet and had beds to lie on. There was tea and water and we were given robes and towels. Niggles : Parking was a struggle as half the car park was blocked off due to workmen being there. We managed to get the last spot and I could see others were waiting. We were woken up at around 8:30 by the workmen drilling under the window which wasn’t ideal. No robe in the room in the room. Location is 30 minutes walk into town centre, so we had to drive. Not a big issue, but I hadn’t realised how far it was.
