The hotel was in a great position overlooking Hyde Park but the facilities didn't match this expectation. The room I had was tiny and the walls were very thin...I could almost make out the conversations of the people next door. The staff were friendly but were unable to scan a one-page document for me. Disappointing

The room was very basic, no bar fridge to keep water cold which I find annoying. There was a bit of a stench throughout the whole floor that I was on. My room wasn't serviced until after 4pm. It was fine for my 2 night stay but probably wouldn't book again. Also didn't find the staff overly helpful or welcoming. In saying that the location was good, right across the road from Hyde Park and some nice pubs close by. Nice and close to the tube station.

Very nice building and great location. Very impressed with the service just about all the time except the service from short Asian receptionist man with black glances.

Hot water did not work when we arrived. The reception didnt know what was wrong. Good location but hotel is terrible. Shower has area you need to duck under and water goes everywhere. Bed is just a double. Two lifts were not working of the 3. Carpets look filthy. No cupboards just a hanging rack. I dont know if it would be 2 stars - definitely not 4. Would not stay again. Cancelled my second night and was not compensated for the night with no hot water.
