Great staff, and they give you a welcome cookie when you arrive. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and quiet--a boon in this busy area of London. It pays to get a middle-of-the-range room, as otherwise the rooms can vary in size (i stayed several times here in 2 separate rooms. One was on the small size, the other was larger. You get what yiu oay fir.) Good food and a nice lobby/bsr area if yiu want to have a voffee or tea outside of your room.

Ten minutes from KX train station. Close to Islington which is a nice area, lots of places to eat and drink and a nice little market. Hotel is okay for central London - we didn’t have a newly refurbished room but I believe they are available. Comfy bed, refreshments left and a small fridge. All fine for a 3 night weekend stay. We didn’t have breakfast or use restaurant but it was busy so it’s popular.

Clean quiet room. About 6 blocks to subway, train station. Not quite in tourist area. Wonderful hotel however. Would consider staying here again. Held luggage and was able to get us in to room before regular check-in time after flying overnight internationally. Really appreciated that.
