The hotel is centrally located, making it very easy to get around. The proximity to Hyde Park and Paddington station cant be beat. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room nice and clean, and the bed comfortable. It met all my needs for when I came back very tired after being out and about all day.

Good place in a great area. It was ok for the price. But: The wifi did not reach my room which was annoying, called reception and they were not helpful at all. They charge £10 for luggage storage after you check out! For that reason am not coming back here, had never seen this anywhere else.

4/10 Poor

Liked: Staff & service
The location is very convenient. Super close to Paddington Station. The decor is a bit tired and amenities are basic, which was fine, it was pretty cheap for a place in London - we only need it to sleep in. But the mattress was terrible, the pillows were thin and limited to one each. And the curtains did nothing to stop the early morning light in. So, even that basic function was lost. It was surprisingly quiet, quite clean and the staff were nice.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the location. The rooms are decorated like my Grandma’s bedroom was 20 years ago and thin curtains. Bulbs in the bathroom not working and the mattresses have no padding. And that was the improved room they moved me into because the basement room was so disgusting. Avoid this hotel.

Wonderful location! Close to restaurants, pubs, Hyde Park and transportation. Do not book room 11 if you want a quiet room as it’s located right behind the front desk. It’s also tiny; I had to store my luggage on the top of a cabinet. Front desk staff is very kind.

Overall good experience. Room is simple, bed comfortable- ideal if you’re just looking for a place to shower/sleep. Stairs are steep and narrow, not the most convenient if you have a lot/ heavy luggage, but manageable. Very central location in Paddington, walkable to vast restaurant options, train station, and parks. Don’t need a car to find what you need in a short distance. Would stay again.
