DO NOT STAY HERE
I left my AirPods in the apartment after checking out. I contacted the host immediately and tried calling — no answer.
Seven hours later, I was finally told they'd "sort it out" and I could collect them the following week. Reassuring, given that my AirPods were, at that exact moment, on the move across London. When I called to ask why my belongings were wandering the city without me, the host told me my personal property "wasn't their problem." Shortly afterwards, the AirPods and case were dumped separately near Brixton — abandoned, not returned.
Checkout was its own ordeal: the shop where I had to return the keys was closed on the Friday morning, with no opening hours listed anywhere. And I wouldn't have wanted to cook in that kitchen even if I'd had the time — it was filthy.
A host who can't be bothered to keep track of a guest's belongings, let alone communicate properly, has no business managing a rental. Avoid.
