Nice hotel, room was a very good size with a comfortable bed and well stocked bathroom. Minimal noise disruptions throughout the stay and clean from what I can recall. Good choice of places to eat inside the hotel, moderately priced but due to location could eat elsewhere if needed outside of the hotel. The service was slightly slow that I wasn’t able to order my second course (in a two course set menu) but they altered the price for me for the one course I did have so can’t really complain. Downside was that I attempted to order room service in the morning and could not get through, concierge said they would ring me back but they never did so went without coffee/breakfast that morning and had to obtain from a local cafe. Pool/spa area was small and although recently renovated I would say it could have been better- no greeting from staff when heading down. There was also a lack of signs to say where everything was in the hotel and lifts did not list which floor things were on. This made it tricky to find the spa at first and the restaurant.

We were warmly greeted by several staff members upon arrival at the hotel. As a young couple (24 & 25), we were initially a little apprehensive, as we’ve previously found that some high-end hotels can make us feel uncomfortable- perhaps because of our age. However, this experience was completely different. From the start, we were made to feel welcome and respected. We were even offered a glass of prosecco on arrival, which was such a lovely touch. Our room was gorgeous, and breakfast in bed was perfect- everything exceeded our expectations. The concierge team were also fantastic. We called down for some extra milk for our tea, as well as a toothbrush, and both arrived within six minutes- so efficient and friendly. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and we truly wish we could have stayed longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
