Excellent location. Bathroom could use an upgrade.
Beautiful older hotel steps from the underground. Convenient for an over night layover. Comfortable beds and a great value for the price. Decor was lovely. Rooms were on the smaller side.
Male receptionist was wonderful! He was the saving grace for the whole hotel! He couldn't have more helpful, pleasant and welcoming.
The rest of our experience was shocking! Never again!
Our first room, the door wouldn't lock so we had to move to another room. That one was on a mezzanine floor so we didn't have a proper window. Neither room had tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was in dire need of repair and a plug in the sink! They need to relist their 'Continental' breakfast as 'tea and toast'. It was so bad that on our second morning we walked to a cafe to have a decent breakfast. It was listed at a good price until you looked at the small print and notice a Tax of an extra £49. Very sneaky.
