Orchard Hotel experience

Simple, basic hotel, very clean! Bathroom toiletries (apart from hand soap and toilet paper, shower towels) not provided which was ok, we have had own shampoo and shower gel. Room and bathroom clean. Disappointed with Continental Breakfast. Providing ham, cheese, boiled egg, jam and cereal isn't a Continental Breakfast. Fresh breakfast but very poor selection.

Orchard Hotel

A quick trip to visit family. Hotel was conveniently located near Paddington station with lots of food options close by. It was nice to have a small breakfast included with the room. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a room at the back, the single pane windows do not dampen the street noise. Other than that, a good choice of hotel.

Inexpensive option but you get what you pay for!

Hotel is situated in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from Paddington station. This is a basic hotel so don’t expect 5 star luxury! It met our needs for an inexpensive weekend. Room was very small but biggest issue was the heating control on the heater was broken and heating came on and off at random! We had to keep the window open to cool the room down! And it was noisy with traffic on a busy road outside. Reception staff made little effort to engage. Breakfast is free and a good option to start the day. No tea/coffee in room but there was a guest lounge where it was provided. Not always an adequate supply of cups!!

Excellent location and helpful staff. It's best suit for families. It has many nice rooms for 3 persons. The services are wonderful and rooms are clean. We will stay here again if we visited London again.
