The room was clean and tidy. The staff pleasant and efficient. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful. The ensuite bathroom has been built into the room - meaning it was very small. The Paddington location is great. Overall, no complaints.

Proximity to the Paddington Station is perfect

Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly, and very accommodating.
Cons: Just the usual tweaks and tune ups needed on an older venue.
Location: Paddington Station is just down the road, most of the key shopping points are an easy walk away
A mere tired stagger from Paddington Station, and a comfortable 30 to 40 minute stroll to the Oxford Regent and Carnaby Street districts makes this tiny little base camp worthwhile. It's small, a little cramped, and the stairs the fourth floor are M.C.Escher inspired. That's what makes the physical place worh it - it'll keep you focused on seeing the town, and just returning for a comfortable night's rest.

Very ordinary and overpriced

Pros: Location
Cons: Put some fans or split system air-conditioners in.
Location: Paddington station within a stones throw as is Hyde Park. Location couldn't be beat.
The room was small, per the majority of London hotels but seemed to be trying to imitate a sauna. Yes it was summer and yes it was hotter than normal but even when the temp dropped outside, inside was deathly hot. The hotel staff were ok but not overly friendly or particularly helpful.
