Highly recommend

I was very impressed with the clean room complete with a full refrigerator, dishwasher two burner stove, sink, microwave, and all needed basic kitchen supplies. If I come back down to Long Beach with my children and husband, I will definitely stay here again and enjoy those amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The room was incredibly clean. Shower had good water pressure. The complementary breakfast was decent.

First unpleasant hotel stay

I was not allowed to obtain the keys for both of the rooms on the single reservation I made. I had to wait until the adult I listed that would occupy the second room on MY paid reservation arrived before I could get the room key. This required me to have two authorizations on my card for the two rooms Said policy needs review! Most importantly I booked two of the same suites with one king bed and one double sofa bed. The second room did not accommodate the guests of three adults and one child. A handicap accessible room was assigned and only had one king and a sofa (not sofabed). When I expressed the lack of a sofabed they sent maintenance to show us how to pull the bed out. Again, it was only a sofa. While adding a roll in bed was thoughtful, there was no room for the child to sleep. The child was ultimately accommodated in my suite which changed the dynamics of our whole anniversary trip. The hotel would not refund, rather suggested giving me points to stay in their chain in the future. With only a verbal who knows if points will arrive. I travel frequently and have had no issues until now. The service and quality of this establishment has really gone down since its opening. I felt the staff was just trying to shut down my legitimate concerns and disappointment. Customer focus has diminished. The coffee was cold, waffle mix was watered down, fire pit was off. The renovations in progress were not announced. I cannot guarantee that I will return here. Glad to be home!

We had a great experience here. We went with our kids and they enjoyed the place. Only problem was that on Sunday the house keeper came and nocked at the door asking if we where leaving and it was 9:30am

Front desk attendants were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious (we were in 2 bedroom suite) and having 2 bathrooms was a real bonus!

Very nice and clean. Theres some remodeling in progress on the ground floor but did not afftect our stay at all. I appreciated the shuttle service to the airport to drop off some of our group, and I understand they offer airport parking to non-guests but i did think it was odd to charge hotel guests for overnight parking ($15).

I had requested a recliner as I can’t sleep in a bed due to arthritis. I was told no problem, but upon arrival, they did not have a chair available. We looked all over for ice, and were told they don’t have ice and we needed to go to the gym to get cold water to drink. My adult kids loved the rooms, I just found these small inconveniences for some are a real problem for me. I will have to try sleeping using the ottomans and sofa chair.

Conveniently located near Long Beach airport. Was a great stay one night before departing on a cruise. Comfortable location with easy, quick food options within walking distance - Starbucks, Subway etc. In the morning I pulled out the ironing board and iron. An ant crawled out of the iron - that was a bit concerning from a cleanliness perspective. Otherwise it was a decent one night stay. Breakfast in the morning had many great options… just be sure you get there on time. We showed up 15min before it closed and many options were empty and unavailable. They close breakfast promptly per their schedule.
