We had an amazing stay at the hard rock. The staff is incredible and treat you so well. Service is incredible by all. The food was super good as well. All of the dinner restaurants were amazing. The hibachi grill (Zen) and Toro Steakhouse were our favorites. The property itself was also super nice. Entertainment each night which was great. We’d probably not go back during peak spring break time. The only downfall of the resort is it is pretty far away from everything but we really didn’t have a lot of reason to leave the resort either. We also didn’t know how windy it was this time of year so the weather wasn’t super hot but still better than Michigan weather this time of year. But that of course is not anything to do with the resort itself. We would go back here and bring our kids as well.

Traveled during spring break Mar 21-27. Resort was busy with a bunch of high school kids. It’s a Great Resort. However it was too loud. Lots of activities for everyone. Pools were great. Kids loved the Lyrics pool. Loved the 24/7 room service with some North Indian food options in the menu. We used the spa (massage and facial) therapists were good but spa services were expensive even after using our resort credits. Rooms are nice and spacious. Food is good as compared to other resorts we have stayed in Mexico. Nice sand and a beach however you cannot swim in the ocean. We even saw whales in the ocean so close to our resort. We will return again.

My wife and I wanted to take our college daughter on a last-minute short vacation to relax and enjoy the sun and a pool. We booked our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel only the day before because of the amenities the all inclusiveness and the location of isolation we booked our stay through the expedia.com website. Upon arrival at the hard rock hotel, we were nicely greeted by the staff at the bag desk to retrieve our luggage to be tagged and later retrieved after completion of check-in, which was nice not to have to lug baggage through the lobby, waiting to check in. My wife and I travel for a living, so our luggage was easily maneuvered by ourselves and was not needed to be relocated through the hotel by a baggage attendant. Check-In was an unexpected unneeded length of time from the moment we arrived at the hotel until we were received our room keys or wristbands was 45 minutes to an hour. This was time that we wanted to enjoy relaxing with our daughter and begin our short, stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. When we were done with the customer service agent for our check-in process, we were then escorted by an additional Hard Rock Hotel employee to be given a short information session on our stay for location of certain amenities and facilities that the Hard Rock Hotel had to offer. What I was not prepared for nor did neither my wife or myself or my daughter for that matter appreciate was the sales pitch hard rock hotel was giving to each Check-In family I witnessed that day. Loved the property and the location was beautiful. Pools and grounds were clean and well maintained. Staff was fabulous everywhere. Restaurants were difficult to get into, they need some type of reservations service. Great resort overall and would return!

It was a lovely hotel. However, it was in the middle of nowhere with limited this to do. I didn't like how some of the staff encouraged drinking. Heavy drinking may provide better tips, but it creates a nuisance for non-drinkers.

Great food choices and drinks were very good. Not enough shaded chairs near the pools. Did not appreciate the pressure to join the time-share. The $200 “room credit” is only redeemable as points used for a discount on overpriced services.

The hotel is impressive . The customer service is par excellency. Stayed in the property for five days and there’s 8 of us and reserved three rooms. They made it a point to put us together in one building as we have requested. The rooms were clean and big. The view from the terrace is beautiful . The restaurants were fantastic. The array of food is abundant and delicious . The Los Galleos which is a Mexican restaurant has the most authentic food . The staff were very courteous and sensitive. We’re not able to get a table one night and they sensed our disappointments, Selena the manager arranged a table for us 13 people to have a table the next day for dinner. We’re so grateful to her and her staff especially the morning staff that served us breakfast. The breakfast buffet in Ciao was also amazing . It’s a buffet of international choices. The omelette is so good . The staff are also attentive and respectful. The senior spring breakers had a blast . The crowds were well controlled and there are securities are everywhere checking on minors .

A little loud, they put our family of four (4 & 6 y/o ) above a nightclub that thumps till 2am. Manager at the Mexican restaurant was extremely rude and made our family uncomfortable. Pool staff where great, the food options where great and the servers were amazing

Rooms were nice except hard beds. Service was superb from workers, pools were small & resort lacks “fun”. Food was terrible. Beautiful property though but too far from downtown, needs a gold coarse & bigger pools

Just got back from a week at the Hard Rock. I’m not typically an all inclusive traveller but our experience there was incredible. Best part of the trip was all of the incredible staff. Special shout outs to Gustavo in concierge and Dustin and Salvador who took great care of us everyday. Everytime we needed anything they were on it. Added bonus was the whale watching from our patio every morning and evening!

Pool entertainment - Milly, Lorie and Katy were fantastic! The bell staff (Richie) was super helpful when our airport transfer was running late. Dining was fab and every staff member we encountered there was friendly and helpful. Only downside- super aggressive time share pitch at arrival AND departure. That was a bit much.
