Clean rooms, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast included with room. Located slightly past the second wooden bridge so it is slightly outside of tourist traffic, so nice and quiet while still very walkable. Would return!

A wonderful stay.

This was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed spending evenings on our balcony overlooking the River. The free breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our bed was comfy and the shower was a good size and easy to figure out. This hotel is located at the far end of old town, but it was very walkable. We loved the mill bridge and the Mühlenplatz area.

The hotel was nice, very clean and updated, and in a fairly quiet location. The hotel was thoughtful in the planning of the room-- a fan was provided in addition to the built-in ceiling fan, extra and different weight blankets than what was already on the bed, black-out shutters, screened windows, and plenty of glasses. I would recommend this hotel.

When I go to Europe I look for safe neighborhood and clean. As I am not spending time in the room, I don't really care about amenities such as a pool, bar, etc. This hotel was good for the price but very bare bones. No air conditioning (which was not too bad in September) but there was no place to charge electronics (adapters did not fit in outlets) which is difficult in the 21sr century. Also, guests need to note that the reception desk closes at night so if you have an issue (we did NOT) it has to wait until morning. Location was excellent and walkable to everything including train station and meeting place for any excursions and very clean. Front door to building is locket at night.

Average Hotel Further Away From Old Town Sites

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but not air conditioned. The distance to attractions was much further than the minutes shown on Hotels. com listing. For instance, the walking time to Chapel bridge was at least double the time shown on Hotels.com's site. The hotel is in Old Town but at the edge far away from Chapel bridge. The rooms were clean but "tired" with no place to sit except the beds and the desk chair.
