Great location to central train station, markets and city attractions. Room is not big, but is clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Especially the lounge is available 24/7, offers coffees, tea and fruits, really give a homey feeling and convenience. Really enjoy the stay.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Central Lucerne

Greeted by friendly staff, room was immaculately clean, located 5 minutes walk from train station and from restaurants, Boats, etc. Breakfast was great also, just a wonderful experience overall. I highly recommend and would go back.

Great hotel close to train station but not in a seedy area you often find around rail stations. Clean. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Restaurant next door (not affiliated with hotel) is excellent.

The staff was fantastic, especially the breakfast crew. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I am not giving five stars as our room was just outside the elevator. Although we had no mechanical noise, when folks were waiting their voices traveled through the door. The room was also definitely “cosy”. Not big issues, we are spoiled and made our stay just a touch less comfortable. We thank you all for the stay in Lucerne.

Fabulous hotel. Only 1 block to train. Chapel bridge 5-minute walk. Laundry 7-minute walk. Clean, modern hotel. Nice continental breakfast included. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We liked this hotel. It is almost next to the train station. Excellent central location, very friendly staff. They gave us free transport vouccher and a free drink. Coffess and teas in breakfast area are always available. You can use that area to eat your own food if you need. There is very homly atmosphere. Free lugage storage is available. Excellent breakfast.

You know how flying economy gets you to your destination, but you really can’t wait to deplane. Felt the same staying at the Lucerne Central Hotel. Noticeably cramped so would not recommend staying there more than two nights. Noise level will depend on the behavior and consideration of the guests near your room as well as the location of the room. Street-side rooms reportedly are very noisy. On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near the main train station, restaurants, and Lake Luzern.

The property is showing its age. Rough around the edges and very small bathroom and especially the shower. There is no AC and it’s recommended to sleep with the window open yet people, traffic and construction is loud. And there are lots of bugs that come in. Would stay somewhere else next time.

Great location. Very friendly staff. The rooms are somewhat small and lack any real ventilation except if you open the windows. No screens so bugs can get in. Could use some better ventilation, or at least screens, possibly air conditioning - otherwise they get really stuffy.

Hotel Central was the perfect location for our 5 nights in Lucerne. The included breakfast was very well done and plentiful. The convenience of having the refrigerator with provided labels so that we could store some food along with other guests was such a great idea. Additionally, they had a Vending machine for soft drinks wine, beer and then coffee and tea was available 24 hours a day. Lovely quaint hotel would certainly recommend it and stay there again.
