Great location, shopping close nice beach view. Water slides didn’t work lazy river was green. Said they had breakfast on website no breakfast at all. Rooms could have been cleaner for sure. Building had a musty smell. Staff was nice and friendly definitely needs some upgrades

This was a clean hotel room, nicely positioned in the beach with a view of Lake Huron and the bridge. It is a bit too busy of a road to walk down to the business district . The pool area had the big water slides shut down now for at least a year, I know this because it was down last year as well.

Be sure to take water shoes- you can not walk on the beach or in the water without them as their “sandy” beach is heavily loaded with rock. You may as well sleep outside. The beds and carpet were wet 100% of the stay. There was dried liquids on the wall, mold behind the toilet, the bath tub faucet leaked, the small was awful- all of our clothes and blankets smelled like it. The staff always refers you to the GM- who is never available. It sounds like this is one of the hotels owned by a family there who owns many hotels that have poor customer service. You’d be better off finding a separate owned hotel. We needed to leave early due to an emergency back home- they won’t refund you for any reason, that is fine. That is policy, but that is probably how they’re able to stay afloat.

Horrible experience! Pictures online show an actual water park. The water park has been closed for over 6 years. All that is there now is a small pool, tiny lazy river, and a toddler splash pad. The lazy river floaters half deflated and thrown in a corner. Staff was rude and not helpful at all. After checking in and checking out the property I asked for a refund and was told NO. I called to speak with a manager and was told that Anna the manager would be to my room to talk with me in 30-40 minutes and never came. In the morning when I checked out 2 days early I asked what the managers name was and was told old a different name. I asked for a corporate phone # and was given the hotel phone # not corporate. The room was nasty dirty. I had a pair of white socks on and just after walking one evening around the same room they were black on the bottom and I threw them away. The walls had black mold from what looked like water damage. In the morning while Packing things up we killed 4 very large nasty spiders. There was a random pill sitting on the night stand. When googled it we found out that it was a crazy antibiotic for some nasty things. So glad my son did not see it before we did. The whole experience was just horrible all around. We booked 3 nights and barely made it one. We were gone before 6am then next morning.

The location is great because it is on the beach with a view of the bridge. We did not take advantage of the pool area. Based on how dirty our room was I would not have wanted to use the pool to be honest. Our room was very dirty including a stain on the sheets of one of the beds, dust on everything, and the floor was sticky. The hallways were also dirty and in need of attention.

This hotel is very run down. The only water park is sketchy and simply opening a window would make it better. It was hard to breathe in the pool area and I never saw hotel staff enter it the entire time we were there.

Overall it was a place sent stay. However, the room wasn’t cleaned properly hair was left in the bed from the last people. There was garbage behind the nightstand and hair left in the hair dryer. As well as the parking lot being so full to the point where I had to park on grass not in the parking lot. Other than those things it wasn’t terrible, but would not stay there again.

You seem to get what you pay for. Since this wasn't our first trip this year was looking for something a little more reasonably priced. Probably wasn't the best idea. No microwave. Never seen a hotel without a microwave, oh well. Handle broken off dresser drawer. TV had to be turned on by using buttons behind TV. They had a lady up quick to hook TV back up and inform us how it had to be turned on. There was rusty grills, siding and old lounges thrown out on the right side of the building. It's pet friendly but you have to take your dog with you at all times which wasn't much fun when you wanted to eat out. Just a few restaurants with patio dining. Nothing the hotel can necessarily control but noisy from about 5pm to 12:30 am. Now here is a surprise: they actually have housekeeping come every day with clean towels and to empty trash! Haven't seen anything similar to that since before 2020. The hotel was okay but will spend a little more to get a little more next time we rent a hotel room or just stick to condos.
