I'd stopped in Macon, GA to see a friend on my way home from our family vacation in Freeport, Fl. I was too tired to continue traveling so I decided to get a hotel room for my 9 year old daughter and I. I was only asleep for less than 1 hour, when I woke up to roaches crawling on me. I found bedbugs as well.

This motel is old with some damage to the floorboards, but it is clean. The bed was comfortable. It is conveniently located, right off the interstate. The breakfast was minimal, and we had to wait while coffee was made. The older man at the desk in the morning was not friendly, but the woman housekeeper was gracious.

Place is in horrible condition. Bugs in both rooms I was giving. Stains on everything including towels. Also they refused to refund me.

Not Clean at All

The room was filthy. Fingerprints on the mirror, dirt on the floor, hair on the towels. Baseboards in bathroom were rotted, missing in room. Toilet paper roll was almost empty with no spare. Bathroom tiles were moldy. The great breakfast consisted of half of the cereals being gone and 3 muffins. My husband said the orange juice had the worst flavor. Our room was non smoking but all you smelled when walking in was cigarette smoke, to the point we woke up feeling nasty from it. Friendly staff but hotel was the worst.

It looked like somebody had pooped on the stairs in the morning. The hotel advertised a breakfast from 6 to 9 AM. I went down there at 6:15 the door was locked and had to give the manager my room number and name which was understandable. The breakfast area had one tiny muffin and a large clear plastic case. There was a waffle iron heating up. There were four clear cereal dispensary containers two of them were completely empty. One of them had maybe two more bowls of fruit loops, and the other may have had a bowl or two left off some other chocolate sugary cereal. That was the breakfast.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Upon pulling up to the front door it was very hot, the door was locked, the front desk attendant was rude. I checked in and the property was run down… pool was not in use, room did not look secure. My expectations were not high because of the price but I did not expect what I saw…I will never return.

Fire alarm removed, German cockroaches in bathroom sink. Extremely dirty sheets/cover- two pillows. Furniture looks like it was left outside in rain for years then brought back in. Smelled, most lights didn’t turn on. Accident air conditioning broken. Left immediately without refund- found a new place

Cheap but no the best

It was clean but the room had roaches and the a/c unit sound like it was about to break homeless people around and people around played loud music all day.
